Bob McCutcheon is PwC’s US Industrial Products Industry Leader and also serves as the Managing Partner for our Pittsburgh office. In these roles, Bob provides thought leadership for the strategic direction of our services and is responsible for bringing the right teams together to ensure our clients’ ultimate satisfaction in the industrial products sector.
Bob has served a wide range of clients, including large SEC registrants and complex multinational organizations and, as a result, he is experienced with complex US accounting and SEC reporting matters. He also has deep experience assisting clients with acquisitions and divestitures, including due diligence reviews, carve-out financial statements, SEC filings and related securities offerings, and the audit of internal controls over financial reporting.
Bob is a frequent speaker at senior executive conferences, and he often authors publications such as PwC mergers and acquisitions and other industry reports. Bob spearheaded the PwC report “Shale Gas: A Renaissance in U.S. Manufacturing?” that highlights the economic benefits that shale gas resources may have on the US manufacturing industry, as well as the study “A Homecoming for U.S. Manufacturing?” He is frequently quoted in media such as The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, USA Today and key industry publications.
Michael Burak is a tax partner based out of Florham Park, New Jersey, and serves as PwC’s US and Global Industrial Products Tax Leader and Global Chemicals Industry Tax Leader. Michael has more than 20 years of experience working with client tax professionals to tackle complex global tax challenges, effectively manage risk, minimize their global effective tax rates, and maximize cash. In addition to his client service role, Michael spends significant time working with and speaking to major chemical and industrial product trade and business associations regarding key tax challenges and opportunities.
Michael’s strong understanding and knowledge of client business and industry challenges has helped him provide many key solutions to his chemical and industrial clients in numerous areas, including FAS 109/IAS 12 income tax accounting, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 income tax accounting controls, environmental remediation and insurance recovery planning, international tax restructuring, federal tax legislative matters, and state and local corporate income tax minimization. A Certified Public Accountant, Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Maryland, New Jersey, and New York Societies of Certified Public Accountants.
Bobby Bono is PwC’s US Industrial Manufacturing leader. He has served a variety of clients from international, publicly-traded companies to emerging, development stage companies. His experience includes significant involvement with multinational companies and SEC registrants in US GAAP accounting, Sarbanes-Oxley internal control and PCAOB auditing standards, financial reporting, SEC reporting, public registration statements, debt offering and comfort letters, and mergers and acquisitions. He has instructed a variety of technical trainings including revenue recognition, stock compensation, business combinations, and current accounting hot topics.
Bobby graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Accounting from Virginia Tech. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Jonathan Kletzel, PwC US Transportation and Logistics leader, has more than 15 years of experience helping clients develop and execute business and technology strategies with a focus on modernizing customer channels, optimizing operations, and improving cross-functional collaboration. Over the last 10 years, Jonathan has been serving clients in the travel and transportation industries. He has a successful track record leading M&A integration efforts that minimize the impact on customers, employees and partners. He has also helped develop organizational models that enable strategic objectives, ensure quality, and improve speed to market.
Steve is the US Industrial Manufacturing Advisory Leader and is based in PwC’s Dallas office. With more than 25 years of experience with technology-driven companies, he has implemented major projects in the areas of global supply chain transformation, performance management, lean operations, product development, and new product introduction. Steve also has significant experience leading transformational projects for multiple industries, including large-scale systems, industrial equipment, aerospace and defense, electronics, and software.
Steve earned his BS in Manufacturing Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley and his MBA in Strategic Management and International Business at the Peter F. Drucker Management Center at the Claremont Graduate University. Steve has been certified as a Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM) by APICS.
Marc Waco is a partner based in Dallas and leads PwC’s Operations Consulting practice for industrial manufacturing companies in the United States. Focusing on energy infrastructure and oil field services companies, he aids companies’ operations improvement, from product strategy and engineering through manufacturing and distribution. Marc has conducted more than 100 distinct operations improvement projects during his 15-year tenure in the operations consulting field.
Marc earned a BS in Industrial Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
