Julien Courbe
Julien Courbe is PwC’s US Asset Management Advisory Leader. He frequently covers technology-enabled business transformations, cost reduction programs, and risk and regulatory solutions. He is responsible for and involved in a wide range of consulting assignments covering technology strategies, core system replacement, performance improvement, merger integration and divestiture, data management as well as organization design. Julien is a published thought leader and frequent speaker on key IT issues and trends within the banking, capital markets, asset management and insurance industries.

Gary Meltzer
Gary Meltzer is PwC’s US Asset & Wealth Management Sector Leader. He has 30 years of experience serving clients in the asset & wealth management sector with a specific focus on asset servicers, investment advisors, private banks, regulated investment companies, wealth managers and alternative investment funds. Gary frequently consults on risk, finance, compliance and operational matters, and he has also advised boards of directors on oversight and governance. Gary is a frequent speaker industry conferences, and has authored or contributed to many publications including the Asset Management 2020 Series, “2015 Mutual Fund Developments: Looking Back to See What’s Ahead,” “Making the Middle office Top of Mind,” “From Good to Growth: Why Institutionalizing Hedge Funds Creates Value for Owners and Investors,” and “9 New Rules of IT Strategy for Asset Management,” among other publications.

Nigel Brashaw
Nigel Brashaw is an Assurance/Business Advisory Services partner based in Boston. He has over 14 years of experience specializing in financial services. As one of the firm’s subject matter experts on ETFs, Nigel also advises clients on 15(c) matters including mutual fund profitability and reporting. Nigel is also involved in providing audit and business advisory services to a number of US and global financial services clients.

Jay A. Burstell
Jay Burstell is a managing director in PwC’s Asset and Wealth Management Advisory practice. Based in New York, he has more than 25 years of financial services experience as a C-suite executive and management consultant. Anthony Conte
Anthony Conte is a principal focusing on asset management regulatory services. He joined PwC in January 2011 with more than 20 years of investment management and compliance experience. Prior to PwC, Anthony spent 10 years at a global bank, where he was the global compliance officer for asset management’s alternative investments business lines including hedge funds, real estate, private equity, and infrastructure; he also acted as the deputy regional head of asset management Americas. While there, Anthony was the chief compliance officer for two registered investment advisers overseeing more than $50 billion in assets under management.

Bill Donahue
Bill Donahue is a managing director with PwC’s Asset Management Assurance Practice. He has over 20 years of experience serving the asset management industry, and has significant experience with ETFs, commingled/collective investment funds, partnerships, master-feeder, multiple class and multi-manager funds, offshore entities and internal control reviews. Bill has specialized in ETFs for the past 14 years, developing controls and procedures for fund accounting, fund administration, custody and transfer agent services. He helped several start-up ETFs deal with various accounting, compliance, operational, reporting, and tax issues associated with their commencement of operations. He is one of the firm’s subject matter specialists on accounting, regulatory, and internal control matters and serves on PwC’s Technical Accounting group within the asset management practice.

Peter Finnerty
Peter Finnerty leads PwC’s US Mutual Funds Practice. He has over 25 years of experience servicing the investment management industry, supporting a wide range of investment vehicles including regulated funds, hedge funds, private equity funds and bank collective trusts. His experience includes assisting clients address various operational, regulatory and reporting issues. Prior to his national leadership role, Peter served as the leader of PwC’s Boston office Mutual Funds Practice. Peter served for three years in the PwC Tokyo office where he was responsible for our services to global investment management clients with operations in Japan.

Genevieve Gimbert
Genevieve is a principal in PwC’s Asset Management Advisory practice. She has extensive experience advising wealth management firms, private equity funds, hedge funds, mutual funds, and other stakeholders in the asset management sector. Genevieve works with senior executives to develop and execute business strategies to improve operations and address risk and regulations. She helps clients enhance their operating models, fraud management programs, tax operations and reporting processes and systems. She also helps clients launch/set up funds, select fund administrators and technology vendors, outsource, and comply with regulations.

Mike Greenstein
Mike Greenstein is PwC’s Global Alternative Investments Leader and the U.S. Alternative Investments Assurance Leader in the Asset Management practice. In addition, Mike serves as the engagement partner and business advisor to alternative investment funds of all kinds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, fund-of-funds, investment advisors, large endowments and other clients. Miike brings 25 years of experience serving many of the Firm’s most complex fund clients, ranging from start-up managers to multi-national, multi-billion dollar firms, many of which maintain complex structures and employ complex investing strategies.

Justin Kaufman
Justin Brett Kaufman is a partner in PwC’s Advisory practice. He has nearly 15 years of experience in management consulting covering various industries, e.g. Wealth Management, Banking, Property and Casualty Insurance, Telecommunications, Technology and Government. Sarah McEneaney
Sarah McEneaney is a partner in PwC’s Asset & Wealth Management practice based in Boston. She has over 15 years of wide-ranging experience, and serves global financial services clients across the various reporting, operational, regulatory and product challenges and opportunities they face. In addition to a subject matter expertise in the institutional asset management ecosystem, Sarah has a practice interest in emerging technologies and venture capital, with a focus on developments in the FinTech arena, including cryptocurrencies and other emerging blockchain applications, and payments technologies. She is a judge and mentor for MassChallenge, a Boston-based start-up accelerator, which supports early-stage, high-impact entrepreneurs. Sarah is a CPA, licensed in MA, IL and TX, in addition to holding a Chartered Accounting designation from Ireland. She earned a BSc in Accounting from University College Cork in Ireland and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, both with honors.

Allison Rosier
Allison Rosier is PwC’s US Alternative Investments Tax Leader. Based in New York, with over 20 years of experience, Allison advises hedge fund and private equity fund clients in connection with structuring investment vehicles, analyzing acquisitions for potential tax issues, and implementing tax efficient investment and trading strategies. Allison also focuses on the tax treatment of derivatives and financial instruments for various clients of the firm. Allison is viewed as a thought leader in the industry on tax issues associated with structuring and operating alternative investment funds, opening people to new ideas and strategies. Allison received her J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the NYU School of Law, and her A.B., with distinction, from Cornell University. She is a member of the tax committees of the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, the Managed Funds Association and the Wall Street Tax Association.
